4th of July

We had a good time as a family for the Fourth this year. on the 3rd we went to the rodeo in Oakley Utah, and then went to all of the Stadium of Fire events on the 4th.

My Dad had tickets to all of the VIP Events so we got to meet Glen Beck, Miley Cyrus and The Blue Man Group.

Now, I was not excited to see Miley Cyrus, but to give you an idea of what happens to the younger kids when they get to meet Miley Cyrus, see the video below.

This was 5 minutes after Meeting Miss Cyrus

Don't worry Maddie, it is not uncool to get emotional when meeting a movie star you like. your mother would have done the same thing if she met Melissa Gilbert

Baby Mama

I went to see this film today at the dollar movies, which was a smart decision. don't get me wrong, this is not a bad film, but i will not lie to you when i say that for about 60% of the film you can see a microphone at the top of the shot. let me just say this. THIS IS A BIG MOVIE, WITH A BIG BUDGET, and somehow it went to theaters with a million microphone shots in it. it is unreal that it made it to the big screen like this. its almost laughable that a film with big actors and huge distribution would like this would have such horrible camera work. go see it and you will notice. other than that is not bad and could have been much better without microphone shots.

Song

So, I was lucky enough to be asked to write a song for this film that is coming out, and I have been working with a guy for the last few days to hammer it out. hopefully by the end of the week it will be good. here is a trailer for the film

Battle At Krugar Enhanced

So, I am sure everyone has seen this video at some point but National Geographic took it and digitally enhanced it, and its pretty incredible. If by chance you haven't seen the original, it is the greatest nature video you will ever watch.

music on the radio blows

so, i have been using this for a long time so many of you may have heard of it, but i have never really mentioned it to people. It's a great place to discover new music for you music enthusiasts, and its free. its called Pandora and you basically set up radio stations of bands that you really like and it will find similar songs for you to check out that you probably haven't heard. you then bookmark them so you can come back later and purchase them.
