Right and Left Brain

apparently i am Right and Left brained because this girl keeps spinning one way and then switching to the other way, but some friends of mine can only see it spin either clockwise or counter clockwise. give it a go

Banking

I just finished working for a Bank in Las Vegas, and grew up with my Dad working in the banking industry my whole life, so I have been around that environment for as long as i can remember. Over the years I have gotten a good feel for the industry, but never have I seen anything as brilliant as what I saw today.
Now, how these guys pinned down this name without it already being taken is beyond me. It's perfect, and in studying the name it just makes complete sense. you know they are doing great things with your finances. Really great work, and inspiring that there are still some great thinkers out there.

Van Halen fans plug your ears

let me start with some background. some bands that don't have an extra musician will simply run a back track, like a keyboard or electronic drum beat that they can all play to so the song sounds as much like the record as possible. the thing about this is that it has to be a certain kbps. if you record it at 48kbps and it gets changed somehow to another kbps, it speeds the track up, making the pitch higher than it would have been (songs on the radio are often like this so they sound higher).

now, you have just got done playing a great show and your final song is your biggest of all "Jump" and the keyboard backing track is somehow the wrong kbps making it impossible for Eddie Van Halen to play in tune. can we all say TRAIN WRECK

Pretty Amazing

Vegas

so I am in veges until tomorrow morning. I had to run down here this weekend and fix some computer stuff for my dad and uncle's business. today I saw a license plate that was odd. the picture is belownow maybe I am wrong here, but being proud, and paying the extra money every year to have a custom license plate that reads home wrecker, seems a little odd

also while down here, I had the pleasure to see one of the better investments one can make in Las Vegas. It is a $4500 stuffed animal of a spider; which, might i say, is well worth the money

Counting Crows

For you counting crows fans, you can download a song (i don't know for how long) from their album that will be released early next year called Sunday Nights and Saturday Mornings. It should be a good album. Half of it will be real mellow and acoustic and the other half will be more like "Recovering the Satellites". This is just an album song that won't be a single or anything because its 5 minutes long, but a good song none the less. It's called Cowboys. You can get it here
They also just released "August and Everything After" (Deluxe Edition) that has some early demo's that never made it on the album. those are here

Thriller

this, i suppose will be a tribute to Andy, who is living in the Philippians at the moment. its a video of Filipino inmates recreating thriller. prison over there must be pretty sweet

so i need to come with some decent t-shirt designs for this show at weber state with Boys Like Girls. any ideas for shirts would be appreciated. also give me an honest opinion on this as an idea? i want something fairly simple yet cool
